Deja View Cafe

On the top floor of the market building, with great views overlooking the sea! Our Deja Brew coffee is grown in farms in the Toledo District and is dark roasted by hand in small batches in San Miguel village. Coffee is harvested from the end of October to February, and the beans are handpicked, dried and then beaten with the mata (a large wooden mortar and pestle) which rids the beans of its outer coating. Beans are then placed on the comal - a flat piece of metal set atop an open fire - to reveal their full flavour. Once the blackened beans cool they are often ground on a ca' (a grinding stone) and are ready to be brewed and drunk.

We have espresso & iced coffee, internet, decadent chocolate cakes, local crafts and Belizean music cd's. A friendly place to relax and meet the locals before or after enjoying the Festivities Central Park. Tel: 722-2276

Earth Runnin's Cafe and Bukut Bar

One of PG's newest additions, Earth Runnin's Cafe and Bukut Bar is a popular hang-out for tourists and locals. Enjoy cosmopolitan cocktails, try the local bitters, or sample their great menu. They have both local favourites or Belizean dishes with a new twist! All while listening to smooth reggae, or live music from their house house band, the Folklore and Culture Club.

Requena's Water Taxi
